Hi, I was a former renter in Bethel Park for 7 years. During the past year, I had to move away due to a job change in North Huntingdon. I moved to North Versailles and let me tell you, I've done nothing but complain about how I regret moving. I love my job, but I seriously regret taking this job becasue I despise where I live. It is a higher crime area, but that is really not what bothers me. Everywhere I go is so dirty and not updated. I'm just not used to that. And the people are ...forgive me for sounding so snobby...low class. Granted, Bethel Park is definately a "richer" neighborhood. But, just because you do not have a lot of money does not mean that people have to act so ghetto and trashy. Unfortunately, I did not grow up in Bethel Park. In fact, I grew up in McKeesport..a place that most people who never lived there would consider very ghetto. My family says that living in Bethel Park changed me and that I act like I am better than everyone else. Well, maybe it did and I didn't realize it, but I would rather be "snobby" than turn into trash. I'm sorry, I could go on and on. But I just want to say people complain about high taxes in Bethel Park. And they are...but you know what, you may be very unhappy if you were to move and live somewhere else. Bethel Park has an atmosphere that you will not get in other communities! (SPONSOR 12/28/05 11:27am) REPLY
